SAN FRANCISCO – Rug manufacturer Jaunty Inc. is entering Las Vegas Market this summer with market specials and a slate of introductions.
Jaunty’s Market specials include 10 free 18-inch rug samples when any marketgoer visits its showroom, free freight with a minimum order and a 10% discount along with a $150 gift card for minimum orders placed at market.
“Despite the supply chain issues, labor shortages, increasing interest rates and other pertinent shortcomings, Jaunty is having relatively a good year so far compared with 2021,” said Kami Navid, vice president of sales. “Even though summer markets are relatively slow, we are looking forward to a good Las Vegas market. We are working on new textures which are being accomplished by new weaving styles and/or combining existing weave styles as well as new blends of yarn executed in transitional and contemporary looks.”
New introductions for Jaunty this summer include:
Jaunty Webster rug in Cloud
Jaunty Zenith rug in Fog
Jaunty will be showing its new collections in building A, showroom A-455 at Las Vegas Market, July 24-28.
“Our niche customers, as you might know, are designers or basically any home furnishing entity with designers on staff. So, having that in mind we expect a strong market coming up in July where most of our customers who normally attend that market have already confirmed their attendance,” Navid told Furniture Today. “At the same time there are certain people that are more cautious about the economy, the inflation, surge of gas prices, etc. where they might shy away from spending and extending more open to buy.
“Regardless of the different mindsets that are out there we are being proactive to accommodate all of our customers’ expectations as for providing them with quality products and the best service that we could provide them with.”
Erica Crawford, associate editor for Furniture Today, is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa, with a degree in English and a writing certificate in publishing. In addition to bringing her writing talent to the editorial team, Erica will add her late-Millennial perspective.
