Spartanburg - Milliken & Company has expanded its yarn production capabilities with the acquisition of a spinning mill from Gildan Activewear.

The textile manufacturer has purchased one of the Frontier yarn plants, located in Mayodan, North Carolina, from Gildan in a move that will expand its open-end yarn production for its protective fabrics, workwear, government and defense, industrial, and napery textile business units.
