BANYERES – Spanish recycled yarn manufacturer Ferre has teamed up with traceability solutions start-up The Movement to adopt its blockchain-enabled product authentication technology.

Ferre, which manufactures yarn using Recover – said to be the lowest-impact recycled cotton fibre on the market – will integrate The Movement’s Aware-branded ‘tracer particles’ in its materials which can be identified throughout the supply chain.

“We want to share the traceability and sustainability performance of our products to drive positive change and meet consumer demand for true transparency in fashion,” said Luis Pita, CEO of Ferre yarns.
